General Partnership („Offene Handelsgesellschaft
– OHG“)
The general partnership (equals approximately to the German “Offene
Handelsgesellschaft”) consists of two or more partners. The legal
relationships between the partners are fixed by means of a partnership
agreement. According to the Commercial Code (HGB), each partner otherwise
disposes of unrestricted management functions and unrestricted power of
representation in business connections.
Essential character of the general partnership is the liability with
the assets of the partnership as well as to the extent of the private
means of all partners.
You do not need any minimum capital in order to start a general partnership.
The general partnership is led by business principles and has to be listed
on the Register of Companies.
