Registration of Residence

What do you have to do?

If you do not only consider to setup your business in Dortmund, but also to change your residence, you have to register your residence at the registration office in between one week.

Which documents do you need?

• Registration form and, if necessary, annex (cf. Downloads)
   
• Arrival confirmation of the landlord (or tenancy / sales agreement).
   
• Notice of removal at the competent registration office hitherto (no need, if the previous residence will be kept or if the removal will take place from abroad).
   
• Identity card or passport

There is no fee for the registration.
